Why Surrender Is My Work Right Now

Just days before this Virgo Solar Eclipse, I found myself circling an old question: Do I need to keep looking for a job, or is my real work to trust that God will guide me when the time is right?
It’s not lost on me that the South Node is in Virgo, right on my 10th house — the house of work, career, visibility, and public purpose. For me, Virgo here has always whispered: prove yourself, stay productive, keep managing the details so life doesn’t fall apart. And yet, I can feel how this eclipse is drawing me toward its opposite pole.
The North Node sits in Pisces, in my 4th house — home, roots, inner sanctuary. Its message is softer, almost fragile in how radical it feels: surrender, trust, rest, write, walk the beach, let yourself simply be.
It’s a tug-of-war I know well. The South Node Virgo voice says, “Don’t be delusional. Keep applying, keep proving, don’t fall behind.”
But the North Node Pisces voice is steadier: “Faith is your compass. You don’t need to micromanage divine timing. You are not failing by being. You are aligning.”
So today, I’m leaning into surrender. I’m choosing to believe that enjoying this period — writing, reflecting, moving with the tides — is not avoidance, but alignment. That in this pause, the future is already arranging itself.
Because this is the truth the nodes always teach us: the old ways of control are comfortable, but the new ways of trust are liberating.
And so I wonder — as this eclipse ripples through your life, what crossroads are you standing at? What pattern is asking to be released, and what leap of faith is your soul ready to take?
If any part of this touched something inside you, I’d love to know.
