Smart Glasses – Blocking the Sun, Blocking the Soul

This is the first post in my Virgo Season Detox series — a 6-part journey to expose the shadows of Virgo energy (control, perfectionism, false fixes) and release them into Pisces wisdom (surrender, wholeness, and light).
We’ve stepped into eclipse season — and this one isn’t just any eclipse cycle. The South Node is in Virgo, pulling up all the ways we’ve relied too much on control, logic, and superficial fixes to try and feel “better.” The North Node sits opposite in Pisces, inviting us to release perfectionism and lean into something deeper: trust, surrender, and the light that can’t be engineered or replaced.
And wow — the timing. As we’re navigating these energies, I see an ad for “smart glasses.” Let me be blunt: strapping EMF-pumping sunglasses to our faces and calling it progress? Really?
Let’s connect the dots:
The eyes are the windows to the soul. Light enters through them, directly reaching the pineal gland, the very gland that governs sleep, intuition, and inner clarity.
Natural sunlight is not optional — it’s nourishment. It calibrates our circadian rhythms, balances hormones, and anchors us in alignment with nature’s cycles. Blocking it blocks your body’s ancient wisdom.
EMFs are not neutral. Research suggests they can disrupt melatonin, alter brain waves, and interfere with sleep. And now we’re placing them directly over our eyes, brain, and third eye center?
And don’t forget — they’re sold as sunglasses. That means you’re not only dosing your brain with EMF but also cutting off the very sunlight your spirit needs.
This isn’t innovation. This is disconnection disguised as convenience.
When did we start trading our soul’s sight for gadget upgrades?
When did protecting our biology, our intuition, our legacy, become less important than the dopamine hit of new tech?
The truth is — it’s easier to control, track, and sell to a disconnected human than a soul lit up by the sun.
So here’s your ponder:
What are you blocking from your life in the name of “progress”?
What would shift if instead of strapping on another device, you let yourself be illuminated by what already is?
The eclipse portal asks us to choose. Control and false fixes — or surrender and light.
